Millions around the world venerate and worship the sun facing the East at the very first glimpse of its rays, as it appears and shines over the horizon colorfully heralding the beginning of a new day. It is the most exciting and hopeful sight. Heliolatry is the most ancient form of ritualistic worship.
The sunrise marks the cessation of the rest period of living beings and heralds the time of activities and work. Folks wish and pray for a good day. They pray it shines for eternity and maintain the world with its life-sustaining stupendous bounty.
Birds and the animals are well ahead in the celebrations of the morning. Like the humans, they are also welcoming the dawn with renewed energy, glee, and exultations of shrills, calls, sounds, chatterings, and joyful singing; a daily event of great happiness and hope for the good tidings for all, and whatever may follow thereafter.
