This is a slow-flowing mellifluous music scoresheet on which the lyrics are written in Malayalam, enabling them to be read, sung, and play the music. The river Pampa, in the state of Kerala, originates in the plateau and valleys bounded by the escarpments of tall, lush green mountain hills in the southernmost part of the mighty Western Ghats at an altitude of approx. 1700 meters. Drips and drops of water form puddles and ponds that form into many reservoir. When they overflow, majestically it climbs down when the 'potential energy' is suddely transformed into 'kinetic energy'. It rushes down; speeds, recedes; pushes, turns; meanders; stalls, goes around, climbs over; forcefully makes paths of its own; streams through the most part of the hi-ranges of Travancore region and almost the entire lowlands of Kuttanad in the picturesque state of Kerala. Before peacefully joining the vast depths of the lake Vembanad, the second largest in India forms a number of deltas in clusters and isolated lagoons forming new landmasses and waterways at the embouchure of the lake. Along the way, it distributes water around copiously; coincidentally, collects monsoon rains; and drains excess water into the lake which passes it on to the Arabian Sea regulating water flow across the region, also mitigating the severity of annual monsoon floods. The point of the highest elevation outside the venerable and inimitable Himalayan ranges and the lowest point anywhere in India are located at or near the route of the Pampa River. Its tributaries, myriads of man-made interconnected and intricate irrigation canals, and waterways contribute to over 2500 sq. km of catchment basin. On those fertile patches of land the enterprising inhabitants have built and grown prolific tropical cultivations; paddy in the reclaimed fields; thriving coconut groves, and lush banana plantations along its extensive embankments & dykes. Pampa is only one of  41 rivers in the state of Kerala, the densest count in the world / sq. m. area. The rivers and its interconnected canal system provide natural and convenient transportation routes for people and goods. The water body hosts large varieties of fish population, exotic aquatic species, and nutritious algae; irrigates, enriches, and fertilizes the land. Elephants, wild animals, buffloes, and cattle graze on the green grass lush with vegetation and edible moss among exotic and wild flowers. The river influences the weather patterns and supports the ecosystems of the region. Pampa is an indispensable natural resource for the life and prosperity of the population it serves.

Treat it with all the merits it deserves and receive the bounty with great gratitude. Take care of it folks, by all means- infallibly!
