It's actually a parody of the  Russian song "Katusha", widely sung by many singers and orchestras; a delectable accordion music piece too.
Katusha is a country damsel, innocent and in love. She is singing about her soldier sweetheart who must soon depart on military duty or war.
The Malayalam lyrics describe the longing of a Gulf expatriate worker towards his betrothed. He had to leave on short notice to get a much-needed job. He imagines singing his story to her about his daily chores, travails, torturous work routines, and the sorrow of being away from her. He is looking forward to returning home soon, and marry her to live happily ever after!. He asks her to be truly patient and loyal to him.
