Manuscript of Elise's song featured in the book “The First Concert”
Parody: Concerto d' Aranjuez (Concert of 'Aranjuez').
The original Spanish song was written for guitar, and then for orchestra. Many artists has adapted it for other instruments, mostly for trumpet. I tried it on the accordion.
As described in "The First Concert" the song Just say I heard you! is first written as a manuscript.
The lyrics is a very genuine and sentimental poem written by a girl from her actual childhood experience in encountering a life-threatening danger.
It attracted the attention of a songwriter who discovered the real beauty, genuine feelings, and sentiments contained in the poem. His composer colleague adapted it to the tune of "Concerto d' Aranjuez". Elise sang it in a Television contest and became an instant hit. It brought her fame and wealth; changed her life.
